Double-Blind
Kate Blair, 24, and three fellow Psychology students are given an unconventional final exam. Their professor, (a controversial figure,) has developed a way to lure society’s most dangerous minds out of hiding to share their secrets. The students and the patients "meet" over a secure Internet connection. The study is double-blind to ensure the safety of all parties. From the outset, something is wrong: the patients know personal details about Kate and the other students; then the professor is found dead, setting off a chain of killings in ever-tightening circles around the students. During the course of a desperate search to uncover the truth about the patients, the students come to realize that the most powerful secrets under investigation are their own.
Darwin's Reply (Shiver)
Dr. Dunlevy “Levy” Tangay, professor of Anthropology, is conscripted to lead a rescue mission into the heart of the Amazon Basin, through a region controlled by a hostile tribe known as "the Menace." The mission is blanketed in secrecy. The expedition picks up a high-powered military escort. They arrive and discover artifacts that resemble those made by Neanderthal Man 50,000 years ago, except these were crafted recently. Levy pieces together a bloody puzzle and finds “The Menace” is not the danger he expected, but it is real and only a heartbeat away. It is a shiver on the jungle floor.
The Bounty Boys
Trent Nobel, 32, a pitcher with a multi-million dollar arm, thought that a rehab assignment with a bad double A team, the “Crickets,” was a minor-league detour. It becomes a major-league pain when the team is enlisted to represent America in the Olympics. The selfish, undisciplined baseball players have a month to learn the most nobel, gentlemanly team sport on the planet, Cricket. The team quickly becomes an international mockery of the host nation’s sport (exactly what the American organizers want) and it appears that Trent might lead a mutiny but something strange happens, when a bunch of “bad” guys suit up in all white.
The Sound and the Furry.
Trevor, 10, exchanges the personalities of his feuding parents with those of his feuding cats, on the eve of his father's big review at the dog food company. Now he has parents who are always taking naps in the sun, and a couple of cats who look very unsteady on four legs. Is there enough magic to bring love back to this family, and will they finally listen to each other? Because only by listening to each other will they hear the sound in "the furry."
